Haley Brink (she/her) is a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) who works with both individuals and families. Originally from Seattle, Haley earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Washington and her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University. She now lives in Bend, OR, and offers therapy virtually to Abri clients in Oregon and Washington.
Since 2011, Haley has provided therapy in a range of settings including residential, wilderness therapy, partial hospitalization and IOP/outpatient. Her experience and specialties include depression, anxiety, eating disorders, avoidance, OCD, trauma, and adolescent-parent dynamics.
As a therapist and clinical manager at a PHP eating disorder program in Seattle, Haley first learned about RO-DBT and witnessed the profound shifts this treatment offered for people struggling with disorders of overcontrol. Haley is particularly drawn to RO-DBT because of its use across a range of diagnoses, its evidence base and its emphasis on having fun as a therapeutic objective.
Haley loves living in central Oregon. She is an avid mountain biker, skier, reader, and mom of two amazing daughters. As someone who is constantly learning to approach her own life with more flexibility, openness, and fun, Haley can attest that this work is a worthwhile pursuit.
Haley enjoys helping clients develop new skills, take risks, and build the kind of lives that they want to live, and she is truly honored to play a role in her clients’ healing journeys.
