Clinical Supervision Track
Clinical Supervision for Masters Associates, LCSW or CSWA
Abri Psychotherapy offers meaningful opportunities for Professional Counselor Associates and Marriage & Family Therapy Associates to complete their supervised hours toward licensure. Our program is thoughtfully designed to help associates deepen their clinical skills and professional identity, with the guidance of highly experienced supervisors.
Associates receive supervision from seasoned professionals in the field, including clinicians with advanced training in Radically Open DBT (RO DBT). Our supervisors bring a wealth of practical knowledge and are dedicated to providing supportive, constructive feedback to help associates navigate the complexities of clinical practice with confidence.
Our supervision program meets all state licensure requirements. Participation includes weekly individual supervision and bi-weekly group supervision, with all supervision costs fully covered by Abri Psychotherapy.

Why Work With Abri for Clinical Supervision?

Supporting Your Growth Through the Transition to Professional Practice
Pre-licensure supervision is a key part of growing into your role as a professional therapist. It offers the chance to learn from experienced mentors, strengthen your clinical skills, and build the confidence you need to support clients effectively. Supervision provides a supportive space to ask questions, reflect on your work, and develop a sustainable, ethical practice. It also helps ensure safe, high-quality care for your clients as you continue to grow as a clinician.

Expanding Your Clinical Perspective
Most graduate programs offer broad, generalist training — but developing your own clinical style and expertise takes ongoing learning. Pre-licensure supervision provides valuable exposure to diverse therapy approaches, perspectives, and voices, helping you refine your focus and deepen your skills as you grow into the therapist you want to become.

Our Commitment to Your Growth and Development
At Abri Psychotherapy, we are deeply invested in supporting the growth of our supervisees. Our supervision model is designed to provide a high level of guidance, mentorship, and training — helping you build confidence, expand your clinical skills, and feel truly supported as you move toward licensure.

Learning Within a Community of Clinicians
Being part of a supportive group practice offers the unique benefit of learning from a range of clinical perspectives. This collaborative environment enriches your training experience, fosters professional growth, and helps you develop a well-rounded and flexible therapeutic approach.

Further Benefits To Our Clinical Supervision Track
Supervision and training for pre-licensed therapists serve several essential purposes. First, because pre-licensed clinicians practice under the license of their supervisors, robust supervision helps safeguard clients, supervisees, and supervisors alike. Additionally, supervision ensures that all clinicians uphold Abri Psychotherapy’s strong reputation for delivering culturally-humble, socially-aware, and compassionate care — values we are committed to in our work and in our community presence. Finally, supervision plays a critical role in supporting ethical decision-making and professional accountability, helping new therapists develop sound clinical judgment while upholding public trust and client safety.
