At Abri Psychotherapy, we offer a thoughtful and engaging RO DBT Graduate Class for individuals who have already completed RO DBT and want to continue their growth. This closed, online group provides a space to revisit and strengthen skills while exploring how overcontrol shows up in everyday life. Through guided discussion, experiential practice, and shared curiosity, participants deepen their understanding of themselves while building meaningful connections with others on a similar path.

What is RO DBT Graduate Class?
The RO DBT Graduate Class is designed for individuals who have completed RO DBT and want continued support in integrating the skills into their daily lives.
This group builds on the foundation of Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy, an evidence-based approach for addressing overcontrol, including perfectionism, anxiety, and social disconnection.
In this group, participants revisit core skills while expanding their ability to apply them in more nuanced and meaningful ways.

Guided Reflection – Explore personal patterns and experiences with the support of the group and facilitator.

Experiential Practice – Engage in exercises that bring RO DBT skills into real-time awareness and action.

Meet Ashlyn West, LPC
Ashlyn West (she/her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Body Trust® Provider. She works with adults of all ages (18+) and genders. She offers primarily virtual appointments, but does have some in-person options. She comes from a background of working with eating disorders in higher levels of care for treatment. She has a passion for working with individuals whose relationship with their body and self has been impacted by systemic oppression, trauma, and expectation. others.
From a trauma-informed and social justice-oriented lens, she utilizes person-centered, motivational interviewing, psychoeducation, feminist approach, and radically open DBT (RODBT) to create space for insight, healing, and change to occur. As someone who is over-controlled (OC), she is drawn to working with RO to serve the clients who are so often seen as doing “fine” and provide a space for permission and healing. Sessions will often be a mix of recognizing the impacts of our social location and balancing that with personal responsibility to build compassion, resilience, and growth.
