Therapist at Abri Psychotherapy
Bella (she/her) is a Clinical Social Work Associate who provides individual therapy to adults and adolescents and facilitates RO DBT classes. She supports individuals navigating anxiety, depression, eating disorders, trauma, identity exploration, grief and loss, and life transitions.
Originally from Colorado, Bella earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Colorado Boulder before moving to Oregon to complete her Master of Social Work at Portland State University. She brings experience from across the spectrum of eating disorder care—from intensive inpatient treatment to partial hospitalization to outpatient settings. Bella’s practice is also shaped by her time working with families affected by the criminal punishment system, specifically incarcerated parents and their children. She remains deeply committed to supporting those impacted by the legal system, whether that is directly or indirectly through a loved one.
Bella’s therapeutic approach is rooted in a strengths-based, relational framework that honors clients as the experts of their own stories. She works alongside clients as a collaborator, utilizing their personal values to guide the process of discovery. Bella is currently being trained in RO DBT and appreciates the modality for its focus on embracing our humanness. Her practice is informed by a social justice lens that considers how systems, identities, cultures, and other factors intersect to influence our holistic health. Bella strives to create a therapeutic space that invites compassionate curiosity and skill development to cultivate growth.
Outside of her work at Abri, Bella enjoys hiking, snowboarding, swimming in rivers, attending concerts, and taking dance classes.
