Mandi Wallace (she/they) is a Professional Counselor Associate. They work with adults and teens of all genders here at Abri, offering in-person and virtual appointments.

Originally from Idaho, she happily rooted herself in Portland and received her Master’s in Professional Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Addictions at Lewis & Clark. She now utilizes her clinical foundation of specialized CBT and ERP combined with an existential-humanistic lens, believing in the importance of a technical eclectic approach to offering effective help. Her clinical work is informed by a social justice orientation, which works to explore client’s concerns through partnering together in treatment planning to allow clients to explore self-defined meaningful change at their own pace.

Working with Mandi means being both gently and candidly challenged to explore what is outside of your comfort zone, as the relationship is often the most healing part of therapy! She is currently being trained and supervised in RO-DBT, appreciating this transdiagnostic approach’s focus on vulnerability and flexibility as Mandi’s areas of previous work, education, and interest include:
● Anxiety Disorders (OCD, panic, phobias, social anxiety, etc.)
● Disordered eating, gender dysphoria and body image concerns
● Substance use and harm reduction
● Hoarding and behavioral addictions

Outside of office hours, you would find Mandi at a dance studio, a movie theatre, thrift store, or enjoying live music at a local dive.
